I like having a printed calendar hanging in my kitchen. I don't write events to remember on it, and very infrequently do I ever reference it to find out what day of the week a particular date falls on. I truly only use the calendar as a piece of rotating art. I look forward to turning the page at the beginning of each month, and then picking out a new calendar with a new theme at the beginning of each year.
I had almost given up on finding the perfect calendar to admire for 2015 until I stumbled upon this beautiful graphic art calendar by Yulya Plotnik. Yes it's written in Russian- but who cares! If printed calendars are becoming somewhat of a novelty these days, why not have a truly unique one that makes for a great conversation piece.
